Since the 1950s and the invention of TV dinners, the media has ridiculed cooking. The message became: Why do something that takes so much time and energy when you can open a box and pop it into the oven or stop at the drive-through window? In leaving real, home cooked food behind, we did not gain time (as the food marketers promised); we lost energy, along with nutrition. Yet there’s a quiet revolution happening now and you’re a part of it! People are putting together the puzzle pieces and seeing that what we eat absolutely matters. They’re awakening to the direct link between declining health and our nutrient-poor diets. Sales in meal delivery kits and organic foods have started to increase as more and more people want the nourishing energy a healthy meal provides.
Being In the Kitchen Is the New Cool
But it might as well be rocket science if you don’t know where to begin, right? Like a lab experiment, you have to put a bunch of things in a pot or bowl, mix them up, and hope it all tastes good. Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation hopes to help with a live online class and cooking demonstration this Sunday (5/20), which will focus on Gut-Healing Broths and Foods. The class, which is part of their Wellness Project, is designed to inspire people to step up their nutrition skills and create delicious, nourishing, healing, home-cooked foods. Their goal is to bring back the joy of cooking with a healthy spin.
The live online event features Health Coach and 21st Century Medicine Woman, Heather Dane, and will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 1 pm Pacific Time, for approximately 3 hours.
The event will include ample time for Q&As from the online audience. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, you’ll have the opportunity to send questions in advance. While Price Pottenger can’t guarantee everyone’s question will be answered, they will try their best! If they run out of time in the 3-hour class, Ms. Dane will do a special follow-up session for participants to answer questions.
In this Gut-Healing Broths and Foods live online streaming video class and cooking demonstration, we are going to cover:
To ensure this event reaches as many people as possible, not only will we be broadcasting this event live online, we will give ticket holders access to the recording of the event. It will be available about 48 hours after the event (technology permitting!). This means ticket holders from around the globe can listen and watch the workshop, even if you can’t attend live.
