A message from Grace O

One Nation. Many Cultures. Endless Healthy Traditions

As we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States this Fourth of July, I’m reminded that one of America’s greatest strengths has always been its diversity—not only in the people who call this country home, but also in the foods, traditions, and cultures we share around our tables.

Every family has its own favorite Fourth of July recipes. Some traditions have been passed down for generations, while others have traveled here from around the world. Together, they tell the story of America—a nation built from many cultures, each contributing unique flavors, customs, and ways of nourishing one another.

At FoodTrients®, we believe food is much more than fuel. Food is medicine. Food is tradition. Food is connection.

Every meal is an opportunity to care for ourselves, our families, and our communities.This Independence Day, I encourage you to celebrate with fresh, colorful foods that bring people together. Visit your local farmers market, prepare a meal with loved ones, and perhaps even try a new recipe inspired by another culture. Healthy eating has no borders, and every cuisine offers something wonderful to discover.

One of the joys of summer is sharing meals outdoors. Whether your table features Mediterranean salads, Mexican street corn, Asian-inspired vegetables, classic American grilled favorites, or fresh seasonal fruit, every dish reflects the rich tapestry that makes our country so special.
