New Food Guidelines – We Are Ahead of the Curve!

FoodTrients is Ahead of the Curve!
For years, FoodTrients® has encouraged what the new guidelines highlight: colorful vegetables and fruits, clean proteins, healthy fats, whole grains, and fewer ultra-processed foods. This is how I was raised, how my father (a physician) taught me to nourish the body, and how I cook for my family — and for all of you.
- Real food matters.
- What we eat can help us feel better.
- And every bite can support graceful aging.
As someone who has spent decades studying food-as-medicine, traveling the world to discover healing ingredients, and creating recipes that support longevity, I feel so encouraged by this new direction. It’s a return to the basics — the same FoodTrients philosophy behind every cookbook I’ve written, every recipe I create, and every article I share with you.
FoodTrients has always had a simple mission: to help you defy aging with every bite. I take the classic dishes I love and brighten them with anti-aging superfoods, remove inflammatory ingredients, and add my favorite longevity boosters — vibrant herbs, powerful spices, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, and clean proteins that help your body thrive.
These nutrients support us in so many ways:
- graceful aging
- more energy
- reduced inflammation
- stronger immunity
- heart and brain protection
- better digestion
- and simply feeling GOOD every day
I want food to make you feel energized, clear-minded, strong, and glowing — at every age.
Many of you know that my most recent cookbook, Anti-Aging Dishes from Around the World, received multiple international awards, including Gourmand’s “Best in the World” in the Health & Nutrition category. That recognition means so much because it reflects our shared belief in the healing power of food.
The new guidelines echo the same real-food approach I’ve championed for years, and I’m pleased to see a renewed focus on long-term wellness.
Thank you for being part of the FoodTrients community. Let’s keep learning, cooking, and aging gracefully — one delicious bite at a time.
