The Gourmand International 2023 Awards: Grace O attended the Gourmand International 2023 Awards ceremony in Umea, Sweden, with members of her FoodTrients team where the awards were presented. Grace and her team celebrated receiving the 2023 Gourmand award for the ‘Best in the World’ in the Health and Nutrition category for her cookbook, Anti-Aging Dishes from Around the World (Skyhorse/August 2022/Hardcover). Because this cookbook won a national award for Health and Nutrition, we were eligible to compete in the international competition for the ‘Best in the World’ award.
Grace O is deeply honored to receive a second international award from Gourmand for her latest cookbook. Grace O’s previous cookbook, The Age Beautifully Cookbook, was awarded the 2017 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards’ top honor — ‘Best in the World’ for Innovation at Gourmand’s annual awards event in Yantai, China. Both her Age Beautifully and Age Gracefully cookbooks won IPPY and Living Now awards.
“All based on the principles of FoodTrients, the recipes in Grace O’s book take us on a journey through a world of thousands of cultures, all brought together for healthy eating. A gigantic undertaking in adapting many different culinary traditions for a result that makes you want to take care of yourself and your loved ones by cooking and, above all, by eating together.”
