On September 13 at 3:00 p.m., a benefit and Foodtrients tasting event for Bright Halls Foundation was held at the City Club Ballroom in Alphaland Makati City. Grace O (Ouano), the creator of FoodTrients, was honored to be invited back to her home city of Manila by the Bright Halls Children’s Foundation to launch her Age Beautifully Cookbook in the Philippines. Her cookbook, published by Skyhorse Publishing, is dedicated to age-defying and delicious recipes. Los Angeles is not just the City of Angels, it’s the City of Food Angels who were out in force on Sunday (July 30) to support the Los Angeles Mission and to offer the over 1,700 people attending the event sample tastings. Angeleno Magazine’s annual Live & Dine LA event, which was held at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, honors the city’s most distinguished chefs and restaurants that help shape and evolve Los Angeles’ culinary scene, and the dishes they served were delicious proof of it. Grace O’s The Age Beautifully Cookbook was awarded the 2017 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards’ top honor — “Best in the World” – in the Innovative category on May 28 at Gourmand’s annual awards event in Yantai, China. Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills rolled out the red carpet last week for cookbook author and creator of FOODTRIENTS®, Grace O for a signing of her latest cookbook, The Age Beautifully Cookbook. A tasting menu of selected recipes from the cookbook were also served at the festive May 19 event. All proceeds received by the author from the book signing are being donated to the Museum of Tolerance to support their extensive Los Angeles community efforts. Author Grace O was the featured guest at the Flintridge Bookstore and Coffee Shop in La Cañada Flintridge on Saturday, June 2, to sign copies of her cookbook, FOODTRIENTS: Age-Defying Recipes for a Sustainable Life. The bookstore’s coffee shop, where the signing took place, was standing-room only.
